Today 05/07/22 River Action’s lawyers have issued the attached letter to Tesco regarding our demands for them to apply further pressure on their poultry products supply chain to address the Wye pollution crisis
We will be releasing this publicly tomorrow (Tuesday) morning
We have had a number of meetings now with Noble Foods, Avara, and Tesco themselves regarding the P crisis on the Wye and we feel a growing sense of frustration regarding their collective lack of urgency in addressing the matter – hence us seriously upping the ante
This is the first move in a plan to directly target Tesco – who is without any doubt the single biggest procurer of poultry products from the Wye (via Avara and Noble Foods).
